Total renovation of an apartment overlooking the trees of the Albert Park with fantastic views over Antwerp. The clients moved here from a historic mansion where they lived their whole lives, making it a huge change for them. This was an important aspect for us to take into account in the design process.

We chose to incorporate the antique furniture pieces into our contemporary design. We took it literally: we built our custom library around an old piece and integrated a beautiful commode in the kitchen counter. That way we made the old and the new meet instead of clash.

Throughout the whole apartment we chose to use noble materials like wood and marble to create a house with a real soul.
